Wisdom Teeth Removal

It is very common for wisdom teeth to get stuck or ‘impacted’ as they erupt if there is not enough space in the jaw. This can cause pain, infections, or problems such as damage to the adjacent teeth. Removing wisdom teeth can be a more complex procedure than a routine dental extraction and may require a small surgical procedure that is carried out under general anaesthetic.

Complex Dental Extractions

Some teeth or roots can be more difficult to remove than a routine extraction at the dentist. These teeth may be impacted, fractured, heavily decayed or restored (filled or crowned). Removing them may require a little surgical procedure which can be carried out either under local anaesthetic in our rooms, or general anaesthetic at a local day surgery or hospital.

Dental Cysts Removal

Dental cysts are little tumours that form around the root of a tooth. They can be caused by an infection or an accident that impacts the jaw. The only way to treat a dental cyst is to have a maxillofacial surgeon perform an exeresis.
